Last Minute Items -

Registration for the Conference and registration for on-campus housing require submitting two different forms. Be sure you have sent each form. If you stay at the Best Western, or elsewhere, do not submit an on-campus housing form.

If you are staying on-campus at Mews Hall, go to the Service Center located in the Robert Purcell Community Center, near Mews Hall to check-in and receive your room keys. You can purchase a parking permit - $5.00 per day plus 8% sales tax. ($5.40) when you check in for the CC parking lot located to the west of Robert Purcell. It will be very difficult to find parking closer to the meeting location, so plan on a 10-15 minute walk across campus. If you arrive between 7AM and 1PM, you will need to ehcek in at the Duffield Atrium conference location. See Cornell Maps for these locations and Getting There for directions.

The Dean of Engineering is sponsoring a welcome reception that will take place at Mike Spencer's home on Wednesday evening in between oral and poster sessions. There will be reserved bus transportation from the conference site to and from the reception back to the Duffield Atrium for the poster session. Bus transportation for the reception is encouraged and individual cars are strongly discouraged at that residential location

Note that transportation at the beginning and end of each day is not provided by the Conference. Parking is very difficult this summer. Please use on-campus housing or make arrangements with hotel shuttle vans. Visitor parking permits are available, but the small number of spaces fill quickly. Two-hour parking is available near the meeting location in the parking garage at the south end. Credit cards can be used.

Posters may be put up as early as Wednesday morning and remain on display through Friday morning. If you are presenting a poster, please plan to be available during the Wednesday evening session for discussions.

An error on the registration sheet indicates conference breakfast. Breakfast is not a conference sponsored event. There is a coffee shop in the Duffield Atrium that has breakfast items. On North Campus, the Appel Commons next to Mews Hall is open for cash meals as well. We regret any inconvenience from this error.
